With challenging workshops, world-class conferences, and exciting destinations, this program offers students a wholesome experience – all the way from sessions based on active learning techniques to cultural exposure in cities as Rome, Budapest, Athens, and New York.
It all begins with a 12-session program based on concepts of Model UN, geopolitics and international relations, in addition to specific focus on skill-development. We tackle 21st century skills such as negotiation, debate, research skills and public speaking. Through this process, the students not only gather the information they need to excel at the conference they’ll be attending by the end of the program, but are involved in the design and delivery of the program itself. Because our sessions require them to participate fully, the students are empowered and receive the guidance they need to direct themselves towards their own goals.
And it all ends with a three-day conference at the chosen destination, where the students implement the skills they acquired and use the knowledge they’ve gained to debate with high school-ers from all over the world on topics related to the international community.
It’s not all academic though! Our favorite part of the trip will always be the exploration – following the conference, we spend a few days roaming the streets and absorbing all the beautiful sights Europe and America have to offer.
